🎠 Playground “Nadezhda (Hope)” Officially Opens in Nikolaev
We are overjoyed to share that Playground Nadezhda (Hope) is now officially open!
This beautiful new play area was made possible through a generous donation from The Pottruff Family Foundation, given in honor of my beloved grandmother Nadezhda Ivanchenko, and through the ongoing support of many I WILL Association friends.
The playground provides a joyful and safe space for disadvantaged children in Nikolaev to play, explore, and simply be kids — a gift of happiness and hope for years to come.
The opening ceremony on September 30, 2013, was filled with celebration and warmth — featuring a children’s orchestra, balloons, games, snacks, and special I WILL logo T-shirts for the kids. It was a day bursting with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
The ceremony also included the unveiling of a commemorative sign “Nadezhda” and a heartfelt speech from my mother, filled with love and blessings for all the children who will play here.
