🏗️ Building a Playground of Hope – Dedicated to Nadezhda
At our 10th Anniversary, the generosity of I WILL’s dear friends made it possible to pursue one of our biggest dreams — creating a playground for orphaned children at the Children’s Home in Nikolaev.
This playground is being dedicated to the loving memory of my grandmother, Nadezhda — a strong and remarkable woman who survived WWII, built a successful career as a single mother, and devoted her life to caring for her grandchildren. Her love for children continues to inspire everything we do.
The photos below show our progress: a site visit in July 2013 and the arrival of the playground equipment in August 2013. The area, once part of a former Soviet kindergarten, is being transformed into a modern, joyful space for children to play, grow, and dream.
The site has been leveled, the equipment has arrived, and the next exciting steps are installation and the official opening!
