A Modern Learning Space for Children
In 2026, I WILL Association upgraded the computer classroom in Yuzhno-Ukrainsk, Ukraine, giving children a more comfortable, reliable, and inspiring place to learn, create, and connect.
The classroom welcomes children of all ages, from kindergarten and Grade 1 students taking their first steps with technology to teenagers developing more advanced computer skills. Classes run throughout the day, including online learning sessions. It is a busy, lively space where computers are constantly in use.
Many of the computers and keyboards had become outdated and needed replacement. With the support of our donors, we provided eight modern computers and monitors, improved Internet and Wi-Fi connectivity, headphones, video equipment, computer accessories, and spare supplies to keep the classroom running smoothly.
More Than Computers: A Place Children Love
For these children, the classroom is much more than a room filled with technology. It is a place where they enjoy spending time, discover new interests, work on school assignments, develop digital skills, and learn alongside friends.
One of the people who makes this possible is Oleksii, a dedicated volunteer who has been caring for and improving the classroom for many years.
Meticulous in his work and deeply passionate about helping children, Oleksii is always looking for ways to make the learning environment better. He takes care of the smallest details, from maintaining equipment to planning future improvements.
He says that one of his happiest moments is walking into the classroom and seeing it full of children, each busy with something different, learning, exploring, and enjoying being there.
That is what makes all the effort worthwhile.
Always Thinking About What Comes Next
Oleksii is not someone who considers a project finished simply because new equipment has arrived. He is constantly thinking about what else could help children learn.
His next wish is a printer for everyday classroom needs and, eventually, a 3D printer that would introduce children to 3D design, creative problem-solving, and new technical skills.
He speaks about these possibilities with remarkable modesty, always asking what might be possible for the children rather than making demands.
His dedication reminds us that meaningful progress often begins with someone who sees what children could achieve if given the right tools.
Gratitude That Stays With Us
Over the years, we have received many heartfelt messages of thanks. But few have expressed their gratitude as consistently and sincerely as Oleksii and Yaroslava, the director of the children's rehabilitation center.
Their appreciation is especially meaningful because they see firsthand how much these opportunities matter to the children.
For I WILL Association, this project is not simply about replacing computers. It is about supporting people who care deeply about children and giving them the tools to turn that dedication into opportunities.
And perhaps the most rewarding result is the simplest one: a classroom full of children who genuinely love being there.
