🕯 Lighting the I Will Candle – Honouring Vladimir’s Legacy
On October 23, we gathered to celebrate the birthday of Vladimir Kotov, founder of the I Will Association — and to continue a tradition he began: lighting the I Will Candle. Each year, this light reminds us of the power of knowledge, hope, and kindness — values that shaped everything Vladimir built.
The I Will Association, which began at our family table in Mykolaiv in 2002, was born from his belief that every child deserves a chance to learn and dream. For my father, I Will was not just a project — it was his life’s calling, carried out with optimism, humility, and love.
This year, we honoured him through action — by holding the I Will Cup – Vladimir’s Youth Competition, which brought together over 100 young creators from across Ukraine. Their coding and animation projects reflect the spirit my father lived by: never postpone what can be done today.
Each candle we light, each child we support, and each project we launch continues Vladimir’s legacy — keeping his light alive in every act of learning and kindness.
